Gardens and Grounds Access

  • The Garden for Everyone was designed to engage all the senses and contains plants that can be touched and smelled. A water feature provides subtle sounds. Paths in the garden are wide and covered in concrete.
  • Cell phone audio tours of the gardens and grounds are available to visitors with their own cell phones. (NOTE: be familiar with your cell phone plan as the cell phone audio tours may require a long distance call and/or require use of minutes)
  • Many plants and trees have specimen ID tags.
  • Boxes containing maps are located throughout the gardens.
  • Roads and paths through the gardens employ a variety of surfaces including asphalt, concrete, gravel, stepping stones and grass. Some areas are located on sloping ground and paths through these areas often feature steps.
  • There are benches located throughout the gardens.
