Speaking of Art is an off-site docent-run program that offers community organizations throughout central Indiana an opportunity to enjoy the IMA collection.

This visual program provides groups such as churches, service clubs, senior centers, and art clubs with the opportunity to explore the various art collections in the IMA. Speaking of Art's program topics aim to serve as an introduction to the IMA's collections and prompt future visits to the IMA. Docents attempt to present images of objects which are on view in the IMA galleries, however, items are routinely rotated and may be absent from the galleries without notification.

Presentations may be selected from an interesting menu of topics.

Bookings for Speaking of Art presentations must be made three weeks in advance of the requested presentation date. Arrangements are made through our Online Request Form.
The fee for the presentation is $25.00.
