Gardens & Grounds
The IMA's gardens and grounds are renowned for their beauty and history. The 152-acre complex includes: Oldfields, a 26-acre American Country Place estate that has been recognized as a National Historic Landmark, the Indianapolis Museum of Art's 26-acre main campus and the 100-acre Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park. The IMA's gardens and grounds are open daily from dawn until dusk. Admission is free.
Tour the Gardens
- Public Tours: During the warmer months of April and October, join us for a garden walk on Saturdays & Sundays. The free tours leave from Lilly House entrance at 1 pm.
- Group Tours: Also offered April through October, free tours are available for private groups when requested three weeks in advance. Learn more about these tours and book one today.
